Ahhh the football season is drawing to a close.
And what a season it’s been.
The shocks, the surprises, the disappointments, the lower league clubs playing better than some of the premier league clubs.
The last minute goal-scoring, the foul language…(yeah, we can all lip read).
I know this for certain, and it will never change:
No one achieves what they want, without working hard at it.
Yes, you can get lucky and you’ll have some days that turn out better than others – but the real success stories come from the people who leave nothing to chance. They work for it.
They train harder.
They contribute more.
They take ownership of their development.
They don’t blame their ‘failure’ on someone else.
They don’t swear (OK, maybe they do – who am I kidding?).
Anyway, my point is, if you want easy, lower your standards.
If you want to be the best at whatever you do , and achieve what to others might seem impossible, raise your bar – and keep it there.
You’re in for a rough ride. And a ride that will be so worth it.
So who will win the #premierleague and who will be the winners and losers going up or down?
It’s never over, until it’s over.
