How to read faces

When you’re having a conversation on a video call, or even from behind a face mask – how do you and why should you read faces?

Well the truth is……we don’t always speak the truth.

We say what we think we should (especially if we’re talking to our boss, am I right?), we sometimes hold back completely, and hide how we really feel.

….Except we don’t hide it. We can’t.

Our facial expressions, especially the ‘micro expressions’ – those tiny, fleeting movements our face makes, tell the real story. They are involuntary, and they say what we are thinking about.

They give the game away.

So in this video I’ve picked out a few to talk about – including eyebrow movements (not kidding).

Watch it, and start listening with your eyes, and not just your ears.
