The ‘F’ Word

I like people who take life by the balls.
And really , is there any other way?

Too many of us are ‘steady eddies’, frightened to take risks – just in case it goes wrong. Or they upset someone. Or they make a fool of themselves.

So instead we don’t run too far or too fast.
And that’s OK.
Until of course we fast forward to reaching our old age. That’s the time when we’re gonna look back over our life matey and start wishing.

Yeah – Wishing we’d done more, seen more and …taken more chances along the way.

But that ‘F’ word stops us doesn’t it?

Fear.

Perhaps it’s time to take to take a leaf out of Jose Mourinho’s book.

The (current) Manager of Chelsea FC  may or may not be popular – depending on who you talk to, but he knows who he is and he doesn’t worry too much about what others think.

Beats worrying doesn’t it eh?

His ‘sack me if you dare‘ comments are brave – and true. He is a great Manager because he gets results.OK, not all of the time, but he has a track record to back up his self confidence (Question…which came first, his track record, or his self confidence?)

Perhaps some of this ‘no fear’ attitude would have helped our England Rugby team to beat the sh*t out of Australia?

And Perhaps the same ‘no fear’ attitude would have helped some of those fantastic singers to win a seat on the girls ‘6 Chair Challenge’ on ‘The X Factor’?

We’ll never know.

And you’ll never know just what you can achieve, unless you get past your own fears.

Isn’t it time you got scared and just said F’ck it!?

Hell Yes!

Life is not for coasting.
